Joel and I were fortunate to get invited to a benefit for MOCA this past Saturday.
It was fantastic. Lots of good art work and lots of art work that looked like a 5-year-old could do it.
I totally fell in love with a piece by Lucy Currier. It was called Population and consisted of 36 pieces of paper with various drawings on it. Valued at $800- $1000, it went for almost $3000. I stopped bidding way before that, but it was fun to raise the paddle a couple of times.
The wine was good and plenty and all in all it was a fun evening.
