Road Rally

Last night Joel and I took part in our neighborhood's "Road Rally" competition. It was like a local "Amazing Race" and so much fun!
We had joined up with our neighbors and created a team called........"Team Rubenclanck" (The Rubenstein's, The Clarke's and The Ranck's)
We all dressed up as 80's people, ladies with crimped hair and bad make-up and the guys with mullets! Kirsten kept saying "How did you ever have a boyfriend back then?" and multiple times throughout the night people came up and asked if I was wearing a wig!!
During the race we had to drive all over Johns Creek and collect different items. We had a list of 63 items which we could use in the 4 different Polaroid pictures we had to take.
Picture #1: Me standing on my head against the library sign, holding a GPS in my mouth and a foreign soda between my legs.
Picture #2: Joel sitting in an ambulance with a mustache, sunglasses and a live insect in his mouth.
Picture #3: Brian holding a can of snails, a can of caviar, squeezing Napa cabbage while hugging a bald stranger.
Picture #4: Sherry wearing a teddy, a pair of panties on her head while kissing a mannequin.
At the same time we had to find other items by listening to clues on a CD.
We had 2 hours to complete the task and we did finish, but came in 4th out of 12 teams. Not too bad. Afterwards we went back to the clubhouse for dinner and dancing. And dance we did. It is amazing how really bad music becomes really really good the more you drink. And that is how we all ended up singing along to Barry Manilow and doing some crazy dance to "Car Wash".
What a night.......
