Rain rain rain

And so the Scottish summer is in full swing with rain every day:)
It has now rained for 4 days, but it's nice rain. Nice rain? Nice rain is when it's just raining with no winds and the temperature is still pretty warm. The air is nice and fresh and the best part? Life doesn't seem to stop just because it's raining. Lots of people out and about. It's really nice.
We're still considering the flat we saw on Monday. It really is very very nice, but se still haven't heard back from the school. We did go by and the secretary, who was sitting in a closet, was very overwhelmed and busy, but promised she would call us. We'll give her one more day:)

Last night we went for a walk and ended up in a pub in Stockbridge. People had their dogs in there, so cute. We got talking to a couple of local guys and we're meeting up with them on Saturday to watch the U.S. game. They're watching the England game.......

Tomorrow we're off to Cairndou I think it's called. Joel has some business there and I figured I would tag along and see some scenery.

Tickets for the Tattoo are booked. I figured I would have to experience it at least once eventhough I really don't like bagpipes. It's like facing your fears.

Joel found out that people here don't use dry cleaners for every single piece of clothing they own and he found out that it's very very expensive to have shirts dry cleaned. I guess he'll have to learn how to iron.
