Update

Since the kids got here I haven't had much time to blog.
They are getting settled. We have the occasinal break down of crying and missing friends. It's hard to watch and calls for sleepless nights for me. So many thoughts: Will they ever be happy? Will thay make new friends? Can we live without a yard?
I already know the answers to these questions, but a mind is a funny thing, it plays tricks on you.
We have been going to the park quite a lot. There's a nice playground in Princes Street Gardens and in Queens Gardens West there's loads of room to just run around or hide behind an old tree. On July 31st we are going to a bday party to celebrate the garden's 203rd bday!
We have also been to the beach a few times. So nice to live close to water again. 20 mins on the bus and you're there. There's sand everywhere in the flat:)
Today we are supposed to head up to Linlithgow Palace for the annual jousting tournament, but it's pouring down, so maybe we'll have to reconsider.
Our furniture supposedly arrived yesterday. And supposedly it will be delivered on Tuesday or Wednesday. Which means we'll be moving into our permanent flat very very soon. How we are going to fit all that stuff in there, I don't know. I feel slightly bad for the movers who will have to walk up and down all those stairs.
So excited to set up a real computer and having access to Skype all the time.
We are slowly learning the local lingo and I have to say it's very charming when Lucas tells us he wants to go play footie:)
Peace Out.
