Something is rotten.....

in the State of Georgia if you have to buy a gas cap lock!!

With the gas prices continuing to climb, people are becoming victims of gas theft. Now, that's sad.
I refuse to buy one of these until somebody actually steals my gas (that sounds funny).
We are now up to $3.55/gallon and while that seems very cheap to Danish people who pay approximately a million dollars for one liter, it is a lot of money to us. When we moved here 2 years ago, the gas price was........$1.79/gallon.
Of course, we could just ride our bikes to and from the grocery store, but everything here is bigger, so it's hard to balance a gallon of milk along with all the other stuff. Not to mention we have no bike riding lanes and oh, did I mention that no stores have places to park a bike.

I should consider moving to Georgia, Ben&Jerry's is cheaper and the gas is cheaper ;-)

We pay around $4 per gallon regular, and when we moved here 3.5 years ago, we paid around $1.90 per gallon.

Even though we do have bike lanes and there are places to park the bikes at some grocery stores, you are right it is hard to balance a gallon of milk along with the other stuff.

I don't complain over the gas prices, but a rise of more than 100% in 3 years, that is something that makes really a difference, and we don't get the advantage of the weak dollar!!
