I have taken two weeks off from the gym. Not by choice, but due to health stuff. At first the break was nice, but after a while it got to me that I couldn't go.
Yesterday was my first day back and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact it made me feel so good that I went twice.
I am two weeks behind in my fit class and I refuse to give up on it, so I am going to make up the time somehow. Today I went twice as well. It works out well that way. I get easily bored while I'm there and I really don't have the patience to stay for more than 1 1/2 hours at a time. So today I stayed for 1 1/2 hours in the morning, went home, ate, did some errands and went back for another hour. It amazes me what exercise can do to your brain. If you let yourself, it is pure therapy and the one place, for me, where I don't think about anything or anyone else. I hate to admit it, but I think I am beginning to enjoy it.
