Creative Writing

I signed up for a creative writing class in hopes of......I don't know....just to have something to do I guess. Maybe learn a thing or two on how to write better. I'd like to be able to write the way I tell a story.

Being the keen people observer I am I spent most of the 2 hours observing the people who had signed up for this course.

Couple of Grannies, couple of mommies, couple of students and a couple of people who, according to themselves, just need that final push before putting the finishing touches on their books!! Their books!! Shouldn't they have taken the class before starting the book or is only the last part or the finishing touch that will be creative?

One girls, in particular, got my attention. Nice French girl dressed head to toe in bright green and gold. Green shoes, green tights, green skirt with a fairy tale scene printed on it, green sweater and a gold necklace that must have weighed at least 10 pounds. It was a carriage with 6 horses in front plus stuff running behind it. How she managed to carry that around all day, I have no idea. I thought it would be neat if she left it on while sunbathing. She would get a nice little scene printed on her neck. Of course that would require sun and since we're in Scotland..........you get the picture. Oh yeah, her glasses ere bright green too and the feathers in her hair. Very colorful indeed. And it only took her 45 minutes before she realized she was in the wrong class!
All of sudden she asks with her very heavy accent," Is sis not Sherman?" To which the teacher asked,"Who's Sherman?" We then realized she was looking for the German class down the hall. And off she went. I hope she found Sherman.

Anyways our first assignment is to write max 400 words on one of the following topics: Tight jeans, brothers, family holidays, windows or pay packet. Oh, and feel free to play with poetry!!

Class 2 starts in 4 hours, I haven't written anything yet. Roses are red, violets are blue...my jeans are too tight, where's my shoe????
