First day of school

The kids had their first day of school yesterday.
We were all nervous as we got up and ready in the morning. The kids looked adorable in their uniforms which consists of a white polo and a blue sweatshirt, pretty boring.
We got them to the school, walked in and I thought Kirsten was going to break down. The look on her face was heart breaking. Like Joel said, "Today is the first day I would have bought her a pony had ske asked for one".
They got to their classrooms and were each assigned a buddy to help them around the first couple of days.
They both had great days, made friends and seemed happy. Kirsten was a little miffed that a lot of the girls in her class live in Leith which isn't too close to where we live.
They were excited to go to school this morning and when we got there Kirsten gave me a look that said, please leave now. So I left.
All is good.
