Sometimes you just come across people who are so dumb that you're not sure whether they're joking or not.
Example: A girl wants to buy a magnet, but settles for a badge. 10 minutes later she comes back and asks if she can exchange said pin for a magnet because.......get ready for this........she has now checked with her mother back in Holland and yes, the magnet bought in Scotland will work in Holland too.
I'm not even kidding you. I couldn't make this stuff up.
I did the mature thing, put away my "are you fucking serious" look and answered politely that of course she could switch it.
The Fringe is over, it's like saying good bye to a friend who stayed for too long. You are tired and you want peace and quiet, but at the same time it's so much fun.
11months and we'll do it all over again.
